Dr. Jeremy Friedberg is a scientist, entrepreneur, and speaker with a proven record of founding and leading ventures across AgTech, Biotech, Biosynthetics, and learning technologies. He has served in senior executive roles for multiple companies and has been recognized internationally by the National Science Foundation, The Journal of Science, and the United Nations.
Holding a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics and Biotechnology from the University of Guelph, Dr. Friedberg brings deep expertise in yeast biosynthetics, industrial fermentation, medical cannabis, advanced cultivation systems, cannabis genomics, and large-scale agronomic and metabolomic data analytics.
Previously Chief Science Officer at MedReleaf Corp. and Lavvan Inc., he now leads Friedberg Scientific Advisors, an R&D consultancy supporting innovation across the AgTech and Biotech sectors. He continues to advise emerging and established organizations globally, advancing science-driven solutions and fostering evidence-based innovation.
